Father’s Day

Today Noraa and I are celebrating Aaron’s first Father’s day. I know that today is going to be a hard day because we cannot physically spend it with him, but I know that God will give us the strength to not only “get through” but to make the most out of today. So we are going to remember and cherish the memories that we had and look forward to the memories that we will have in eternity with him. In the short 5 months that he was a part of his daughters life, he truly made an impact. She adored him and he adored her. Whenever he was able he would hold her, feed her, cuddle with her and tell her how much he loved her. Today and everyday I will tell her all about her daddy and how much he loved her and still loves her. I thank God everyday for bringing such a wonderful man in to my life. I feel so blessed to have shared and experienced all I did with him. I am especially thankful for our amazing daughter and the joy she exudes everyday! She definitely has his sweet spirit and loving attitude. Each morning I see her sweet face, I see more and more of Aaron.

So today as we celebrate fathers, I can’t help but feel so thankful for our Heavenly Father. He is our loving Abba, Father!

  • 2 Corinthians 6:18  “And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
  • Psalm 89:26  “He shall cry to Me,’ You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.”

I also want to say Happy Father’s Day to 2 amazing men. My Dad & Leo (Dad “A’). You both have been the leaders of our families this past year and I cannot thank you both enough for all that you did for us & still do for us. You both are incredible examples of integrity, loyalty, love and leadership. Thank you again for guiding us through this faith journey.

We love you!
