Shoulder to Shoulder

Today Aaron remains in the Sylvester Cancer Center and continues to face the battle against cancer and fights each day with new determination.   Aaron and Suzanne continue to find strength when there appears to be none and take steps when they do not know where to step.  However each day they see the faithful hand of God in the mist of their chaos.

Today Aaron’s doctors have re-visited the focus of care he is receiving from an aggressive approach of killing cancer cells, to an agressive approach of stabiliizing his body functions. This includes kidney and lung function while strengthinging his blood and controlling fluid retention.  This may sound like a very drastic change, but it is necessary to get his body to catch-up to itself.

We are asking you to join us in prayer as we ask the Lord to show substantial body system recovery in the next four to five days. This will allow for another  aggressive attach on the cancer cells.

Please pray specifically for:

1. The fluid to disipate from his lung, eliminating shortness of breath.

2. The kidney to perform at maximun function, controlling fluid levels.

3. The protein and blood levels will elevate to strengthen his body.

Tonight our immediate family stood united in spirit and prayer with Aaron and Suzanne, re-committing to stand shoulder to shoulder in their battle.

“Circumstances can be painful. But even when situations seem overwhelming, believers can trust that our sovereign Lord knows all, is in control and lovingly works everything for His children’s good. We can rest confidently knowing that the unchanging God of all creation is taking care of us.”  1 Corinthians 1:1-9
