To all of our Prayer Partners:
In our battle with cancer our game plan has been to pray through each day and accept the day as a victory. We have seen through God’s faithfulness the victories have brought us through the past year.
Today we are pleased to report that your prayers and tears combined with ours have brought us tears of joy today. We give God all the praise and glory for a report that has given us a day of encouragement and another day of victory.
The scans from earlier this week have shown NO growth in the major tumors or in the bone tumors. However, the scan has revealed some fluid in one lung which will be removed today and tested. Our prayer request is that the testing will result in non-cancerous cells. Unfortunately we will not get the results until next week.
Dr. Merchan and his team have recommended that Aaron’s treatment remain the same because of its success. He is also recommending that a port be inserted today in order to make it easier on Aaron in his weekly treatments.
So our final question to Dr. Merchan is always, “Can we take this as positive news”? His reply today was yes.
Again, we thank God for today’s victory and we thank each of you for going to God on behalf of Aaron and our family.
Please pray that the fluid extraction and port procedure will go well and that Aaron will have a comfortable night, he will be released tomorrow.
