Today is a big day! Today is our 1 year mark in Aaron’s fight against cancer. Today we are celebrating our Lord and His faithfulness to us for the last 365 days! We are rejoicing in this victory! Our journey is teaching us to truly be thankful for each day, to take one day at a time, to completely rely on God & to celebrate each victory that comes our way!
We are also coming up on Easter Sunday and as we reflect back on all the events that led up to our Saviors crucifixion and His rising from the dead we are reminded of how amazing He is. He is the way, the truth and the life! He suffered and died on the cross for our sins, so that we may spend eternity in heaven with Him. How lucky are we to call Him our God & our friend.
We are so thankful that we do not have to fight this battle alone. Psalm 91 says that, “He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust him.”
** We have a couple of big weeks coming up! Aaron is getting scanned again next Monday, April 9th and we are getting the results on Thursday, April 19th. Please be in prayer for Aaron, our family and the results. We are praying that Aaron’s current treatment is working to prevent ANY growth of current tumors and to prevent ANY new growth. Our prayer request is that Aaron’s tumors are shrinking & becoming non-existent! We are praying that God’s mighty hand is doing a miraculous healing inside of Aaron’s body!
