The more you know God….. The less you ask for… But the more He gives.
Lord, I just want to get to know you! I want to hear you. I don’t want or need anything, I just want to know you.
Asking
Seeking
Knocking
If I really want to get answers to prayers
1. Perseverance: don’t give up and quit
2. confidence:belief in the trustworthiness of God!
The more confidence you have, the more stronger you pray, the longer you pray, the harder you pray!
Matthew 7:9-11
* if you know how to give good gifts, then how much more will your heavenly father give what is good to those who ask for it!
Example: parents giving their children good gifts
You will never equal what God had in store for you!
Is silence a good answer?
Jesus silence in our lives is always good. He is not silent forever! * he has the BEST answer if you are willing to wait! He will answer the needs of your life if you just TRUST HIM! You will never be disappointed!
Don’t try to second guess God!
* Be patient in prayer and wait for God’s timing!
