We have so much to be thankful for and to celebrate!
We are so pleased to say that Aaron is doing so well.
The Sylvester Cancer Center at the University of Miami continues to make us feel like family.
Last week Aaron had a follow-up visit with the radiology and they felt confident that the Cyber Knife treatment was successful. He also had follow-up with oncology after the first four week treatment with the systemic therapy, that also was encouraging. His blood work looked great and Aaron has only experienced minor side effects from the treatment.
The clinical study treatment protocol cycle is four weeks on, two weeks off, at the end of the next cycle; new tests will be done to determine the success rate.
Aaron is excited about getting back to work and his team welcomed him back with a new nickname of Mr. Strong. Aaron’s journey and his demonstration of faith has earned him the respect of his co-workers and continues to motivate him in his recovery.
Suzanne and Aaron recently witness the final sonogram of Baby A. They have elected not to have the gender revealed, so everyone is guessing like crazy as to whether Baby A is a girl or a boy. It never ceases to take our breath away on how God continues to bless them and us during this journey.
Specific Prayer Requests
- That Aaron’s body will continue to respond favorably to the aggressive synthetic therapy
- That the scan that will be done in six weeks will show huge progress on shrinking his tumors
- That Aaron and Suzanne will continue to draw closer to God and each other
- That Suzanne will continue to remain strong for her and Baby A.
We leave you with the powerful thought, “Prayer does not become powerful until prayer becomes personal”.
Thank you family and friends for being with us for this journey and for making it personal – Aaron is certainly feeling the power of your prayers!
