We want to thank everyone who has been praying for Aaron and Suzanne. First we can report that today we met with the doctors at the Sylvester Cancer Center at the University of Miami. We were encouraged at the level of detail and the attention they gave to Aaron.
They have confirmed that the kidney cancer has returned and metastasized to other locations in his body in the bone of the hip, spine and back. They have also confirmed that it has not metastasized in any other major organs.
On Monday Aaron will have an MRI on his spine to see if there is any compression or structural impact. If so radiation will be the first treatment in that area if not he will be starting on a systemic therapy which will be less aggressive.
While this is a very serious situation, we have left our meeting encouraged and trusting in God.
Secondly, we can report that Suzanne and Aaron are continuing to thank God for “Baby A” that is growing in her.
Specific prayer requests:
1. That the MRI will reveal no damage to the spine.
2. That Aaron’s body will respond positively to the systemic therapy.
3. That Suzanne will continue with good health and a strong pregnancy.
